All of my prints are shot with a Zone VI 4x5 wooden field camera using 3 lenses - a 120mm, 210mm or 300mm. All of which are Schneider. The size of every print is pretty much finalized as I'm looking through the ground glass. I'm a big believer in the patience required with creating images from such a large camera. It requires thought, clarity of vision and great attention. I don't believe in making editions of 3 or 4 different sized prints. Each image has its own energy or spirit and lets itself be known what size it wants to be. For a long time I was against making any print larger than 11 x 14 for the simple fact that I felt they didn't need to be any larger. I will be however, starting to print a few of my images in the 16 x 20 size as I feel they would be enhanced by the larger size. Those prints will be stated on the enlargement pages and down below when they have been determined.
All prints once finished go through an archival finishing process. A second fixing bath, toned in selenium, hypo cleared and archivally washed. They are then mounted on 4 ply Rising Museum Board with a 4 ply window mat on top. The window mat has about a 1/4 inch cuff around the print so as not to cut any of the image off.
